Capturing the rays of light as they spill in from the west
The Napa Valley: Shoot Day 1
Today we were up bright and early, and to our surprise - there was NO FOG! We were graced with beautiful sunshine so we headed out to the cabernet fields of the Trefethen Vineyards to film Jon Ruel, Director of Viticulture and Winemaking. Here he used his refractometer to measure the progress on some young grapes that had just turned purple.
Later, we worked our way into their old, rustic barrel room that smelled of oak and aged vino. It was here that we aimed to represent the essence of time and the beauty of wine tasting.
We wrapped the day with a sweeping sunset view over the rolling hills that were woven in trailing vines. All & all it was an amazing day!
